257 Wednesday March 16, 1831 Met according to adjournment Mr. Boutette of Waterville has leave of absence after today during the remainder of the Session. Petition of John Taber 2nd for change of name was read and referred to the Committee on change of names. The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed - Bill to incorporate the York Manufacturing Company - which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence. The same Committee also report as duly engrossed - Resolve additional respecting the Canada road - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence. Report on Petition of Samuel [?] Honraus came from the Senate accepted as amended giving the Petitioner leave to bring in a bill - and the House adopt the amendment of the Senate and accept the report as thus amended in concurrence. Bill - to divide the town of Berwick and to incorporate the Easterly part thereof &c was taken up and it was moved to refer the same to the next Legislature - and the question thereupon was taken by yeas and nays as follows - Yeas 45.
