18 plantations in this State, that the whole number of votes which were legally and constitutionally returned from the several towns and plantations in the State is fifty thousand two hundred and nineteen; that the number necessary to constitute an election is twenty five thousand, one hundred and ten; that Samuel E. Smith has twenty eight thousand two hundred and ninety two - and he is constitutionally elected Governor of the State of Maine - came from the Senate for concurrence and the House concurred - sent up.

An Order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Emerson, Scammon and Webb, with such as the House may join be a Committee to wait on Samuel E.
