Resolve providing for the promulgation of the laws of the State came down amended in Senate at A for concurrence, and the House so far reconsidered their former vote as to concur with the Senate in said amendment.

A communication was received from Elias Thomas, Treasurer of State elect, signifying his acceptance of that office.

Reports on the petitions of the Inhabitants of Thompson Pond plantation - - of Samuel Taylor & al - granting leave for Bills, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Report on the petition of Martin Bailey, referring the same to the next Legislature, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Resolve in favor of Thomas H Norcross, was taken up and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

Petition of John Richards for leave to change his name was read & referred to the Committee on change of names.

Petition of the Trustees of Limerick Academy for aid, was read and referred to Messrs Sanburn of Limerick, Hunt of Avon & Latham of Gray.

Petition of William Sanborne & als for authority to erect a toll Bridge &c over Piscataqua River - also Remonstrance of Thomas Heald & als agst the erection of Toll Bridge over the Kennebec River above Westons ferry &c - of the Directors of Norridgewock Falls Bridge upon same subject were severally read & referred to the committee of Turnpikes Bridges and Canals. Sent up for concurrence.
