272 Report on an order in relation to the removal of the back seats of Members n the Representatives Hall, was read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate. Report on Petition of the President and Directors of Thomaston Bank granting leave to withdraw was read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of Baileyville Camo[?] Plantation Number seventeen, - in favor of Abner B. Thompson, were severally once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for second reading

Bill to incorporate the Sabattus Manufacturing Company - to incorporate the Washington County Agricultural Society. - to incorporate the Anson Agricultural Society. were severally read a third time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill regulating the Survey of Lumber  in the County  of Penobscot came from the Senate, they adhering to their vote passing the same to be engrossed as amended, and on motion that the House recede from their vote postponing the same indefinitely, the question was taken by yeas and nays and decided in the affirmative as follows.

Yeas 82, Nays 53. On motion to reconsider the vote whereby the House refuses to concur in the amendment proposed by the Senate to the fourth section by striking out the following words - "Provided Nevertheless, that any persons may sell and dispose of their lumber at the Mill Marks and the same may be shipped without survey" the question was taken by yeas and nays and decided in the affirmative as follows Yeas 73 Nays 60. The previous question having been called for, and the call
