A communication from the Governor addressed to the President of the Senate, transmitting a copy of the Report made by the Board of Officers appointed pursuant to the Act entitled An Act making further provisions concerning the Militia, passed the twenty third day of February last came down from the Senate, referred with the accompanying papers to the Committee on Militia & Military Affairs for concurrence. - and the House concurred.

Bill - to incorporate the Somerset Mutual Fire Insurance Company, laid on the table by Mr Selden of Norridgewock on leave first obtained, was read once and referred to the committee on Banks & Banking. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to prevent destruction by Crows, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten o clock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill - to incorporate the Proprietors of Dead River Bridge was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill - to annex part of the town of Surry to the town of Ellsworth, was read 1st & 2d time and the further consideration thereof postponed until Wednesday next at eleven o clock.

Bill - to annex part of Patricktown plantation to the town of Jefferson, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Report on petition of Joshua Swett & al, granting leave to withdraw came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - & the House concurred.
