Met according to adjournment.

Report of the committee appointed to settle with Mark Harris late Treasurer &c, accepted in Senate, came down for concurrence and the House concurred

The committee of Finance reported the following order, viz, Ordered That the committee on Finance be directed to set to the town of Bristol in the Tax Act the sum of three hundred & fifteen dollars and thirty one cents and to the town of Bremen the sum of ninety seven dollars & forty nine cents. read & passed.

The Committee of Finance reported the following Order, viz. Ordered, That the Committee on Finance be directed to prepare & report a Bill providing for the assessment and collection of the sum of forty nine thousand nine hundred & eighty eight Dollars in the same ratio on polls & estates as was provided for in the Tax Act of the last year - which was read & passed.

Petition of Isaiah Wood for leave to change his name, was read & referred to the committee on Change of names.

Bill - to incorporate the Franklin Bank, was read 1st & 2nd time & Friday next at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Petitions of George Reid & als of Nobleboro' & Bristol to be incorporated into a town - of Joseph Stanley & als of Mt Desert for a division of said town - - read and referred to the committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence
