Report of the committee on the Judiciary on the order directing an enquiry as to the expediency of providing by law that persons who are disabled by age, sickness, lameness or other infirmity shall be exempted from paying a poll tax, referring the subject to the Committee on Finance - read & accepted. The Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals to whom were referred the returns of the Selectmen of the several towns & the Assessors of Plantations within the State shewing the amount of the money raised & expended in labor & materials for building & repairing Highways, Bridges &c, reported an abstract thereof and recommended the publication of three hundred copies of the same - and the report was accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - in addition to an act to incorporate the President, Directors and Company of the Vassalboro Bank, came down the Senate having passed the same to be engrossed - The House receded from their vote of 12th instant and passed the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
