Mr. Talbot, from the committee appointed to engage a Draftsman, made a report, which was read and recommitted to the same committee with instructions to contract with some person for a compensation not exceeding two dollars per day, during the session. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The following joint standing committee, having been appointed on the part of the Senate, and sent down to the House for concurrence, came up joined as follows, to wit:

Of the Senate On the Judiciary Messrs. Megquier, Boutelle, Thayer. Of the House Messrs. Williams, Dane, McCrate, Kent, Cilley

On Literary Institutions [Senate] Messrs. Hunton, Keith, Groton, [House] Messrs. Clifford, Drummond, Pierce, Fessenden, Boyd.

On Banks and Banking Messrs. Emerson, Boutelle, Ingalls, Messrs. Magoun, Lord, Gerrish, Dunlap, Robinson of Augusta
