Bill - additional to an act regulating Judicial process and proceedings, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - providing for the inspection of Soleleather, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - an additional act respecting the attachment of property was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a third reading.

Bill - additional to an Act entitled an additional act defining the powers of the Judicial Courts in granting Reviews & for other purposes, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - abolishing the punishment of death in certain cases was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of the Dameriscotta [Damariscotta] Canal Corporation, came down, the Senate refusing to refer the Bill in concurrence with the House to the committee on Turnpikes Bridges & Canals - The House recede from their votes & postpone the Bill indefinitely. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve making an appropriation for the late Warden of the State Prison & for other purposes, was read once & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a second reading.
