[Resolve dividing the State into Districts for the choice of Senators taken up] The Resolve for dividing the State into Districts for the choice of Senators was taken up, and a motion was made by Mr. Gardner to amend said Resolve in such manner as to increase the number of Senators to twenty eight, which question being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays was decided in the negative as follows, To wit: [Yeas] Yeas - Messrs. Dole, Eastman, Fuller, Gardner, Harding, Kingsbury and Morse - 7. [Nays] Nays Messrs. Davee, Drummond, Dunlap, Goodwin, Hall, Hinds, Hutchinson, Hutchings, Ingalls, Megquier, Pike, Steele and Sweat - 13.
