97 The House reconsider their vote whereby they accepted the foregoing report and recommit t6he same to the Committee on the Militia sent up for concurrence.

Mr Bronson of Anson was appointed on the Standing Committee on the Militia in the place of Mr Garcelon of Lewiston and the Clerk by Message acquainted the Senate therewith

A Message was received from by their Secretary proposing a convention of the two Houses in the Representatives Chamber tomorrow at eleven o'clock for the purpose of choosing a State Treasurer - requesting the concurrence of the House therewith - and the House concurred - and the Clerk by Message communicated the same

Petition of Samuel Holden for aid was read and referred to the Committee on State Lands sent up for concurrence -

Petition of Trustees of Anson Academy for further aid was read and referred to the Committee on Literary Institutions - sent up for concurrence
