order of this Legislature to prepare & report a Bill providing for the regulation & government of the State Prison, with such a code of Bylaws in relation to the same as to them may appear fit & proper ; ordered further that the Secretary of State be directed to transmit to each of the above named gentlemen copies of the several Bills & papers reported to the present Legislature relative to the State Prison - and the House concurred.

Resolve providing for the preservation of the State House and property belonging to the State & for other purposes, was read & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve fixing the compensation of certain officers, was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives - - authorizing the Treasurer of this State to make a loan of money - in addition to a Resolve making appropriation for the late Warden of the State Prison & for other purposes passed March 3d 1829 - - on the Pay Roll of the Senate - - providing for the preservation of the State House & public property belonging to the State & for other purposes - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to incorporate the Piscataquis Manufacturing Company came down amended for concurrence - and the House so far recede as to adopt the proposed amendment and concur with the Senate in passing the Bill to be engrossed.

Bill - in addition to an act to incorporate the Schoodic River Log Company, came down referred to the next Legislature with an order directing the petitioners to cause the same to be published &c for concurrence - and the House having received & accepted the report of their Conferees, concur with
