109 Thursday January 26. 1832 Met according to adjournment

On motion of Mr. Eaton Ordered, that Messrs. Eaton, Bailey, and Tobin be a Committee to inquire into the expediency of revising or repealing the 2. section of of [sic] and act passed April 1. 1832. securing the owners their property in logs, masts, spars and other timber with leave to report by bill or otherwise.

Report on the Petition of the Kennebec Boom Company came from the Senate recommended to the same Committee with instructions to report a Statement of facts, for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Report on the petition of the Trustees of Monmouth Academy granting leave to withdraw - was read and accepted sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Patten of Bowdoinham Ordered, that the Committee on Interior Fisheries be instructed to enquire into the expediency of making further provisions for enforcing the laws requiring owners of wears and hedges in Kennebec River to keep open gates or passage ways in said wear and hedges on certain days and during certain months in the year sent up for concurrence.

An Additional Resolve relating to the line between Gray and Windham was read and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate - sent up -
