On motion of Mr Thayer, ordered, that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of so far amending the law for the support of paupers, that in all cases brought for their support and maintenance, when their settlement is contested, the party prevailing, shall in all cases recover full cost.
