The petition of the Directors of Winthrop Bank, that their Charter may be extended, was read and referred to the joint standing committee on Banks and Banking, in concurrence.

Resolve in favour of Oliver Perkins Resolve in favour of Charles S. Preble Resolve in favour of Henry Bichford Resolve in favour of Nicholas Peirce were severally read a second time, and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

The petition of William Sawin and others, for leave to build a bridge over tide waters in Freeport, was read and referred to the joint standing committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The committee on engrossed bills respecting as truly copied from the original Resolves relating to the North Eastern Boundary and the same were finally passed.

Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the committee on the judiciary to consider the expediency of revising the law abolishing imprisonment of honest debtors for debt. read and passed in concurrence.
