Order from the House, instructing the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and Canals, to enquire into the proceedings of the Kennebec Boom Corporation, whether said corporation is not at this time exercising important powers injurious to the public and not granted by the act of incorporation; and whether the Legislature under the authority of the seventh section of said act should not immediately restrain or annual the powers and privileges granted by said act read and passed, in concurrence.
