The petition of Henry Hazeltine and others. " of inhabitants of Thorndike; " of inhabitants of Montville; " of inhabitants of Belfast; " of inhabitants of Knox; " of inhabitants of Jackson, and " of inhabitants pf Northport, praying that an act for the encouragement of agriculture may be passed. " of Orin Tinkham and others to be incorporated into an agricultural Society; " of sundry inhabitants of Somerset county to be incorporated into an agricultural Society, were severally read and referred to the joint standing committee on agriculture, in concurrence.

The petition of Moses Burley and others; " of Alpheus Felch and others; " of Samuel B. Gilkey and others; " of Samuel Morrison and others; " of James B. Doyle and others. for the formation of a new county; " of inhabitants of Hodgdon and Westford to be incorporated into a town, were severally read and referred to the joint standing committee on the incorporation of towns, in concurrence.
