Bill to incorporate the Calais Railway Company, reported by the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and Canals, was read once, and Friday next, at ten o'clock, assigned for a second reading.

The petition of Stephen Hopkinson and others, in relation to the dividing line between Hollis and Lyman, was read and referred to the joint standing committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Emerson, ordered, that the committee on Banks and Banking be instructed to enquire into the expediency of modifying the fifth section of an act to regulate Banks and Banking. Sent down for concurrence.
