Resolve in favor of Samuel Sherry, __ in favor of Simeon Loveit were severally read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Petition of Charles Rogers and others to be set off from the town of Raymond to the town of Otisfield, came from the Senate referred to the Committee on the Division of Towns for concurrence, and the House concurred.

Petition of Massachusetts Society for promoting agriculture, for a half Township of Law [?] as justly due from the State of Maine was read and referred to the Committee on State Lands, sent up for concurrence.

Report on the Petition of Nathaniel Trent and others that the prayer ought not be granted, came from the Senate, accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report on Petition of Josiah Fowle __ on Petition of Joseph Trent, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Petition of Ephraim Harlow and others, __ of Samuel Foster and others __ of Thomas Croswell and 25 others __ of Moses Carlton and others, against extra Judicial Oaths were read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary sent up for concurrence.
