221 By these documents it appears that the Agent has affected the object of his mission and discharge the duties incident ally connected, therewith in a prompt and satisfactory manner It cannot but be highly gratifying to the Legislature and people of this State to Cann the readings and cordiality with which our Parent Commonwealth has complied with the request of this Government by Cooperating with us in the adaptation of measures calculated to effect a favorable decision of the question, respecting our Northeastern Boundary now pending before the Government of the United States.
