1861 Camp Jameson Nov. 10th

General Hodsdon Sir as thare is a misundestanding in regard to my enlistment and Col. Roberts has called the detailed soildrers into the rank that were driving team he told me that if I enlisted as a waggoner to send and get a cirtificate to that effect will you be so kind as to forward one at your earliest opportunity and oblige your most obedient servant
