�2 Marched through the city to Wochester[?] Depot to take the cars again for New York. it rained all the time we was in Boston. we got loaded again on to the cars and started for New York abought 1 oclock still raining. we came through many pretty towns on our way from Boston to New York. arrived at New York 3 oclock in the morning. we stoped in the cars till day light.
March 22nd We commenced to unload the car's at daylight unloaded them. saddled our horses. marched through the city abought 4 miles to the wharf. and the New
3 Jersey shore. loaded our horses on board of the boats and came abought 15[?] miles to Elizabeth City in New Jersey. went ashore and took the cars again. and started abought 5 oclock on our jorney again.
March 23rd at daylight this morning we had only come abought 70[?] miles from Elizabeth city. ther was some trouble with the cars in the night and we did not make much headway. we came through some very pretty towns in New Jersey and Penncilvania. arrived at Harrisburg. the capital of Pennsilvania at 12 oclock.
