I was enlisted by you as a waggoner with a recommendation from G.W. Ricker that I should serve as a waggoner and in no other capacity and sinse the teams have been turned over to government and as there is no teams in the regt I have been ordered into the ranks as a soldier and I want to know if I shall be justified in refusing to act as a soldier if so please let me know as soon as convenient
