298 Wednesday March 7, 1832 The committee on engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve in favor of Charles Harding Resolve for paying the Land Agent Resolve in favor of John Means Resolve for extending the time for the performance of certain settling duties Additional Resolve in favour of Zadoch Bishop and others, Resolve in favour of William W. Quimby, Resolve authorizing the Treasurer to receive and borrow money in behalf of the State, Resolve in favour of Daniel S. Perley, Resolve for completing and repairing the Canada Road and the same were finally passed. The same committee reported as correctly engrossed, Bill to incorporate the Orono Bridge, and the same was passed to be enacted. Mr. Bridgham, from the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, reported an order of notice on the petition of John Gardner and others, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Resolve in favour of John Baker came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their vote passing said resolve to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pas the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.
