54 on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so amending the Law regulating Elections that in case no election be affected in any District on the Second Monday of September, it shall be the duty of the Selectmen of Towns and Assessors of Plantations in said District to notify another meeting to be held in two weeks from the said second Monday of September - and that every succeeding meeting of the Inhabitants of said District for the choice of Representative shall be legally held in fourteen days after the last - sent up for concurrence.
