Met according to adjournment

Bill - to assess tax on Stud Horses came from the Senate, they adhering to their vote passing the same to be engrossed - was read and referred to Messrs. Shapleigh of Berwick, Swett of Prospect and Wyman of Lovell.

Report - of Committee on Division of Towns referring to the next Legislature the Petition of David Coffin and others - came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report - of the same Committee referring to the next Legislature the Petition of James Gilman came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report of the Committee on State Lands granting leave to withdraw on Petition - of Ephraim Whitney - also - of Robert Sawyer - came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Bill - to set off a part of the town of Canton and annex the same to Jay - was read a first and second time and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Resolve - in favor of Elias Thomas came from the Senate amended at B. by inserting the word "and" - and the House recede from their former vote so far as to adopt the amendment and pass the same to be engrossed as thus amended in concurrence with the Senate -

Bill - directing the method of laying out and making provision for the repair and amendment of Highways
