Petition of Hugh D. Mc.Lellan and others praying for alteration in the Law providing for count Martial was read and referred to the Committee on the Militia in concurrence with the Senate

Petition - of John Stratton and others for liberty to establish a Horse or Steam Ferry Boat at Sullivans Ferry was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges and Canals - sent up for concurrence.

Petition - of Warren Colby for relief from oppressive Judicial process - was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary - sent for concurrence.

Resolve - in favor of Timothy Hall Jr. came from the Senate passed to be engrossed for concurrence - and the same was referred to a Select committee consisting of Messrs. Shaw of Standish, Robinson of Litchfield and Stevens of Lincolnville.

Resolve - in favor of the town of Albany was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve - for clearing out and making passable certain Portages in this State was read a second time and passed to be engrossed - sent up for concurrence.

Report - on Petition of Selectmen of Gray came from the Senate nonconcurred and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary for concurrence - and the House recede from their former vote accepting this report and concur with the Senate
