[Bill to establish the Bucksport & Prospect Ferry Company.] The Select committee to whom was refered An Act additional to an Act to establish the Bucksport and Prospect Ferry Company, reported that in their opinion the same ought to pass, and said Bill was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

[Bill respecting Colleges.] "An Act respecting Colleges" came up from the House indefinitely postponed. The Senate reconsider their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed. Mr. Kingsbery then moved to amend said Bill, by striking out the first section, and inserting in lieu thereof a new section. And the question of so amending being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit:

[Yeas.] Yeas. Messrs. Davee, Dunlap, Eastman, Gardner, Hall, Harding, Hutchinson, Ingalls, Kingsbery, Megquier, Steele and Sweat 12.

[Nays.] Nays. Messrs. Dole, Drummond, Fuller, Hutchings, Hinds and Pike. 6 said Bill was then passed to be engrossed as thus amended. Sent down for concurrence.

[Resolve for payment of Accts. against the State.] "Resolve for the payment of accounts against the State" was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.

[Resolve establishing a Valuation for the State.] "Resolve establishing a valuation for the State reported by the Committee on State Valuation, was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence, concurred.
