The following Joint Select Committee on the subject of a State Hospital was announced by the President on the part of the Senate and joined as follows, to wit; Of the Senate Messrs. Cilley of Thomaston, Dumont " Hallowell, Dyer " Pownal On motion of Mr. Burnham, Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of altering or amending the law making provision for the appointment of County Commissioners so that all the purposes intended by the same may be accomplished.
