The petition of Simon Young and others for a lan to regulate suits on judgments and for an alteration of the law regulating the taxation of cases ect Read and referred to the joint standing Committee on the Judiciary in concurrence.

The Report of the joint standing Committee on the Judiciary granting leave to withdraw on the petition of Jabez C Woodman, was read and accepted in concurrence.

Mr Talbot from the joint standing Committee on Turnpikes Bridges and Canals reported reference to the next Legislature, on the petition of Ira P Woodbury and others; Also on the petition of Samuel A Bradley and others. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence

The same Gentleman from the same Committee reported order of notice on the petition of the Damariscotta Canal Corporation.

Mr Hunton from the joint standing Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions reported reference to the next Legislature on the petition of the Trustees of Anson Academy and also on the petition of the President and Trustees of Bowdoin College, which reports were severally read and accepted.
