26 Monday, January 7, 1833.

The Senate met according to adjournment.

The Petition of Richard H. Wather and others to annex a part of York to South Berwick was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges, and Canals.

Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Randall, Ordered, that so much of the Governor's message as relates to State Roads, with the accompanying documents be referred to the joint Standing Committee on State Roads. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Keith, the Petition of John Stockbridge and others, inhabitants of Plantation numbered Eight in the county of Oxford praying to be incorporated into a town by the name of Byron, referred to this Legislature, was taken from the files of the last Legislature and referred to the joint standing Committee on the Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence.

Mr Cobb from the Committee appointed to wait upon the regular officiating ministers of the Gospel in the towns of August and Hallowell made a report which was accepted.

On motion of Mr. Talbot, Ordered that when the Senate adjourn, it adjourn ti meet at half past nine o'clock tomorrow morning.
