67 compensation not exceeding two dollars per night. Sent down for concurrence.

The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a message from the Governor transmitting the annual Report of the Land Agent together with the Report of the special committee of Council on the same. Also certain Resolves of the Legislature of New Hampshire.

The annual Report of the Land Agent was read and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on State Lands, and five hundred copies ordered to be printed. Sent down for concurrence.

The Resolves of the State of New Hampshire were read and referred to the Joint Select Committee who have under consideration so much of the Governor's Message as relates to South Carolina. Sent down for concurrence.

Resolves respecting the Senators of the United States from the State of Maine, came up from the House, and were laid on the table.
