87 Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of repealing an Acted passed March 17. 1831 entitled an Act concerning Corporations. Read and passed in concurrence.

The petition of Micah C. Foster for a Divorce. " of Robert Gowen and others for a reduction of the Compensation of the Clerk of the courts in the County of Somersett [sic]. were severally read and and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary in concurrence.

The petition of John Brown and others to be set off from Cornish and annexed to Limerick, " of Jonathan Pickard and others praying to be set off from Newburg and annexed to Hampden. " of Elijah Hunter and others praying to be annexed to the town of Clinton, Remonstrance of the Inhabitants of the town of Newburgh against the petition of Jonathan Pickard and others, were severally read and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on the Division of Towns in concurrence.

The petition of the Inhabitants of Wilton for a new County, Remonstrance of the Inhabitants of New Sharon against the petition of the Inhabitants of Farmington for a new County, were severally read and referred to the Joint Select Committee on Division and alteration of counties in concurrence.
