105 written Message from the Governor, accompanied by sundry Documents, which was read and sent down.

The Report of the Inspectors of the State Prison accompanying the foregoing message was read and referred to the joint standing Committee on State Prison, and three hundred copies, ordered to be printed. Sent down for concurrence.

The annual Report of the Bank Commissioners accompanying the same message, was read and referred to the joint standing Committee on Banks and Banking, and three hundred copies ordered to be printed. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Randall. Ordered, that chessrs Randall, Read and Keith with such as the house may join be a Committee to enquire into the expediency of establishing in connection with the Treasury Department, the office of Auditor of accounts and assigning thereto the duties usually performed by such officer, to report by Bill, Resolve or otherwise. Read and passed. Sent down for concurrence.
