Mr Cobb from the Committee on Manufactures reported legislation inexpedient on the petition of Nathan Winslow and others. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills, reported as correctly engrossed; Bill to incorporate the Bangor and Pushaw Canal Company. and the same was passed to be enacted

On motion of Mr Herrick. Ordered that the joint select Committee who have under consideration the subject of compensation of County Commissioners, be instructed to enquire, what alterations if any, are necessary in the laws in relation to County business: with leave to report by bill or otherwise. Read and passed. Sent down for concurrence.
