129 resignation or otherwise in the boards of Trustees of all Academies in this State, which said boards of Trustees shall have neglected to fill for the space of two years from the time of each vacancy sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Lord of South Berwick Ordered that the Committee on Literary Institutions be instructed to enquire into the expediency of furnishing the Trustees of each incorporated academy in this State not already provided with the same - with one copy of Greenleafs Statistical view of Maine and the maps which accompany the same - for the use of said Institutions, with leave to report by bill or otherwise sent up for concurrence.

Report of the Committee on leave of absence, in compliance with an order of the 28th instant, was read and referred to a Select Committee consisting of one person from each County viz, Messrs. Bagley, Prince, Hall of Bowdoin, Wasgatt, Walker, Bean of Readfield, Sawyer of Porter and Johnson of Troy.

Remonstrance of George S. Stevenson and forty seven others against Jonathan Pickard being set off from Newburg and annexed to Hampden - was read and referred to the Committee on Division of Towns. sent up for concurrence -
