In general throughout, the diarist uses period as sort of general separators and rarely caps the first word in a sentence. There are other stray periods, occasionally, which I've included. In places where some spelling becomes sloppy (I wonder if he was hurrying or maybe tired at times); I didn't want to insert 'sic' every time, so I've transcribed as I saw.
