Friday January 6, 1832.

Order from the House of Representatives appointing Messrs Cilly of Thomaston, Belcher of Farmington, and Estabrook of Camden with such as the, Senate may join a committee to contract with some suitable person to do the State printing for the present year, came up for concurrence: and the Senate concurred, and Messrs Webb and Pike were joined.

Mr Thayer, from the committee appointed to draft Rules and orders, made a report which was read and ordered to lie on the table.

The report of the committee appointed to draft Rules and Orders was taken up and accepted; and the Rules and orders as reported were accepted.

On motion of Mr Ingalls, Ordered, that the Secretary of the Senate cause one hundred and fifty copies of the Rules and Orders to be printed for the use of the Senate, thirty of which shall be deposited in the Secretary's office for the use of the next Senate.

Adjourned.

Afternoon. The Senate met, and on motion of Mr Talbot Adjourned.
