Report of the Committee to whom was referred an order relative to embodying into one Act, all the Acts relating to schools - the Committee asking to be discharged from the further consideration of the subject, and that the same be referred to the Committee on Literary Institutions - which was read and accepted - sent up for concurrence

Communication from Roscoe G Greene, signifying his acceptance of the Office of Secretary of State came from the Senate, was read and sent up

Communication from the Secretary of State, transmitting the abstract Returns of the several Banks in this State came from the Senate, for concurrence, referred with the accompanying Reports to the Committee on Banks and Banking and the House concurred - sent up

Communication from Nathaniel Clark, Edmund Mean Edward Williams and Asa Clark - signifying their acceptance of the Office of Councilors, to which they had been elected by both branches of the Legislature - came from the Senate, was read and sent up-

A Message was received from the Senate proposing a convention of the two branches of the Legislature this day at half past eleven oclock in the Representatives
