55 To the Senate and House of representatives I have received from the Secretary of the Trustees of Bowdoin College copies of certain proceedings had in that Board at their last annual meeting which in compliance with his request are herewith transmitted for your consideration Council Chamber Robert P. Dunlap January 7 1834 Which message came from the Senate for concurrence with the accompanying Documents referred to the Committee on the Judiciary and Four Hundred copies thereof ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature and the House concurred - sent up. The Committee appointed to invite the several Clergymen of Augusta and Hallowell to officiate as Chaplains for this House the present session made a Report which was read and accepted. Remonstrance of the town of Wilton against the Petition of the inhabitants of Farmington for a new County, was read and referred to the Committee on Division and Alteration of Counties - sent up for concurrence. Petition of Jacob Fisher and others for a grant of Land from the State was read and referred to the Committee on State Lands - sent up for concurrence.
