Met according to adjournment

The committee on engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed Resolve establishing a board of Internal Improvement. The question being on the first passage of the Resolve - Mr. McClintock of Bristol called for the previous question and the call being sustained - the question was then taken " Shall the main question be put" which was decided on the affirmative - the resolve was then finally passed and the question on passing the same was taken by Yeas and Nays as follows Yeas 86 Nays 73 (see appendix page ) sent up for concurrence

The same committee report as duly engrossed Bill to change the name of the town of North Salem " additional increasing the salary of the Judge of Probate in the county of Penobscot and fixing the time of holding the courts in said county " to prevent the destruction of Pickerel in Thomas Pond, Camden Pond and Fletchers Pond in the county of Waldo " to incorporate the town of Shirley
