Inhabitants of the state was read a second time and refused a third reading.

Bill to establish the Maine Hospital was read once and on motion laid on the table and three hundred copies ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.

Resolve in favor of David Trask was read a second time and indefinitely postponed in concurrence.

Bill additional to alter the time of the meeting of the county commissioners in Lincoln county was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve for the admission of Allen Haines to practice law and the same was finally passed. Sent up.

Report of the Select Committee of this House to whom were referred the returns of the Clerks of the Judicial Courts made in compliance with an order of the House of January 17 was read and recommitted to the same committee.

Bill to change the names of certain persons was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

A message was received from the Senate by their Secretary informing the House that the Senate adhere to their vote finally passing a Resolve providing for the erection of a monument over the remains of Enoch Lincoln and propose a conference and appoint as conferees on their part Messrs Keith, Emerson and Thayer, and the House adhere to their former vote referring the same.
