Monday March 3d 1834 Met according to adjournment On motion of Mr. Judkins of Hodgdon, Ordered that Mr. Judkins of Hodgdon, McCrate of Nobleborough, Boynton of St. George, Mildrum of Wells, and Small of Limington with such as the Senate may join, be a committee to enquire into the expediency of altering an Act for the protection of the Mattanawcook and Military roads passed 20th of February 1833 with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read and passed - sent up for concurrence.

Mr. Cilley of Thomaston has leave of absence from and after this day during the remainder of the session.

Report on Petition of James Titcomb and others granting leave to withdraw was read and accepted - sent up for concurrence.

Bill incorporating the East Machias and Machias Port Bridge Company was read and indefinitely postponed in concurrence with the Senate - sent up.

Resolve in favor of Anson Academy came from the senate for concurrence They having nonconcurred the House in the indefinite postponement.
