The Report of the same Committee on the petition of the Inhabitants of Argyle, asking leave to be discharged form further consideration of the same, and that it be referred to the Committee on State Roads. Read and accepted in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Kenduskeag Turnpike Corporation, came from the House recommitted to the joint standing Committee on Turnpikes Bridges and Canals for concurrence. Read once and recommitted in concurrence.

On motion of Mr McLellan, Ordered, that Messrs McLellan and Howard be a Committee with such as the House may join, to enquire into the expediency of altering, or amending the law regulating the inspection of lime, and the size of lime casks, and report by Bill, or otherwise. Read and passed. Sent down for concurrence, and Messrs. True, Gross, and Gilmore, were joined.
