Monday, March 10, 1834.

On motion of Mr Cobb, ordered, that the Secretary of the Senate be made up on the Pay Roll twenty five days as a compensation for filing the papers and completing the Journal of the present Session.

Mr Cobb from the Select Committee, to which which was referred an order instructing them to inquire what compensation ought to be allowed to the Messenger of the Senate and his assistant, reported the Following ..... Ordered, that the Secretary be instructed in making up the Pay Roll of the Senate, to make up to Samuel Eaton, Messenger of the Senate, Four Dollars and Fifty Cents per day in full for his services and all assistants, read and accepted.

Mr Smith, from the Select Committee to which was referred the Bill to incorporate the Sebago Canal Company, reported amendments to said Bill which were adopted and the same passed to be reengrossed as thus amended of which the House were informed by message and concurrence requested. Concurred.
