204. House of Representatives

Tuesday February 12. 1833.

Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr Barnard - Ordered That the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of revising the law passed March 10. 1831. providing for the appointment of County Commissioners - Read and passed - sent up for concurrence.

An Order came from the Senate for concurrence - appointing Messrs. McLellan and Howard a Committee with such as the House may join to enquire into the expediency of altering or amending the Law regulating the inspection of Lime Casks and report by Bill or otherwise - and the House concurred - and joined Messrs. True of Montville, Gross, and Gilmore - sent up.

Report - on an Order relative to the abolition of imprisonment of honest debtors for debt - that Legislation on that subject is inexpedient - came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred - sent up.

Report - on an Order relative to repealing the law giving a bounty on bears and other animals - that the same ought not to be repealed - was read and accepted sent up for concurrence.

Report on an Order relative to repealing, altering, amending, or explaining An Act concerning the assessment and
