Ordered that the Committee on Claims be instructed to enquire into the justice and expediency of authorizing a suitable compensation to be paid to Obadiah Hill for his attendance at the Senate board during the Session of the Legislature in the year 1830 in conformity to a notice from the Secretary of State, with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise sent up for concurrence.

Bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Penobscot to expend money on a road in Dutton " to set off a part of the town of Harrington and annex the same to Addison " to incorporate the Merchants Bank at Bangor " to revoke the Charter of the Cumberland Insurance Company were severally read a first and second time and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Bill to incorporate the Waldo Bank " to incorporate the Gray, Standish, Hollis and Alfred State Company " to repeal an act respecting Alewives in certain streams in the town of Penobscot were severally read a third time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to alter the time of holding a meeting of the county commissioners in Penobscot County was read a third time and passed to be engrossed, sent up for concurrence.
