68 Petition of John Reed & others that a part of No. 7 in the County of Oxford may be annexed to the town of Byron was read & referred to the committee on Division of Towns in concurrence with the Senate.

A Message was received from the Governor dated Jany 17th 1835 [see appendix page] transmitting the report & account of the Agent appointed to superintend & manage the sale & settlement of the Public Lands, was read and hundred copies ordered to be printed in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on the petition of the Selectmen of Montville also - on petition of Samuel Crockett granting leave to withdraw was accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

On motion by Mr. Phelps of Fairfield, Ordered, that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for a revision of the laws of this State. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve relative to the election of Senators which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on petitions of Isaachar Kimball & others " John W. Smith & others " Rufus Sewall & others " Inh. of Jackson granting leave to withdraw, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of Moses Burley & others for the incorporation of a tract of land called Linneus as a town by the
