The Speaker announced the appointment of Monitors as follows viz For the 1st Division Mr. Sabine of Eastport

            2nd " Mr. Curtis of Freedom
            3rd " Mr. Warren of Deer Isle
            4th " Mr. Boyd of Harmony

Stephen Palmer representative elect from the class composed of Barnard &c and Benjamin Waterhouse - representative elect from the town of Danville appeared, presented their credentials were qualified and took their seats.

The committee appointed to contract with some suitable person to perform the duties of Messenger &c reported "That they had employed Thomas Baker, at the price stipulated in the Resolve of March 6, 1829 to wit, Two dollars per day for the Messenger and one dollar per day for each person necessarily employed under him" and their report was read and accepted.

Ordered, on motion of Mr. Boutelle, That when this House adjourns, it be to three o'clock this afternoon.
