Farmington June 9, 1862 Gov. I. Washburn, Jr.: My Dear Sir; Is your arrangement made for Asst. Surgeon? If not- I should be very much pleased to designate Dr. T.F. Pratt of New Sharon as a suitable candidate for the place. I have not been able to learn whether Kimball will take the place in the 16th or not. I should also be glad to have the privilege of designating my Hospital Steward and Wardmaster if it will not be inconsistent with your arrangements or feelings- Yours Very Truly C. Alexander
